Amila is the owner and the Principal of Maroondah Taxation.
Amila fell in love with numbers from a young age and was determined to achieve financial literacy early on.
Following his passion, Amila graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and has been a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) since 2007. He is also a Registered Tax Agent.
With extensive experience in boutique and mid-tier accounting firms, as well as the State Revenue Office of Victoria, Amila views his role as a trusted advisor, providing tailored and practical solutions.
Amila specialises in accounting and tax services for the Medical & Healthcare sector. Additionally, Amila is dedicated to helping small business owners achieve their financial goals and ensuring compliance with Self Managed Superannuation Funds
Medical and healthcare Accounting: Through his work with medical professionals at BBB Partners, Amila understands the unique challenges faced by healthcare professionals, who often work long hours, have extensive ongoing education, and ultimately put patient care ahead of financial management and tax compliance.
